This is an explanation of how Unity works, all of it’s features and how to use them. They are free, so I only have to click ‘Add to my assets.’ Then they will be loaded into my Unity editor! It might look different depending on when you access it, but if it says Unity Asset Store in the top left, you have done everything correct! Now you can download all of the free assets or buy any paid assets you want! Now I will demonstrate how to import an asset. To go to the Asset store, click on ‘Search Online.’ You should be taken to the Asset store Webpage! Select ‘Window’ and locate the option that says ‘Asset store.’ On the top left, there will be a few options. But how do you access the unity asset store, you ask? Do not fear, I will show you! It is quite similar to blender in the way it has a camera, light source and all axis’ present. Once you create a new project (3D core) you will see this. If it’s your first time using the software, you will have a blank space under projects, but I have created a project already (albeit it doesn’t have anything in it yet.) Simply click on the blue ‘New Project’ button to start creating! Opening the Unity hub, you will be greeted with this interface. For it to be free, you must not maker over £100,000. You can download this from the Unity website. Next, we located the Unity Hub, which is a program that allows you to create and access all of your “projects” (Your games). It should be in the top right corner of all Unity websites, and the top left in the Unity Hub. The first thing we had to do was create an account for Unity, so we can access all of the things Unity has to offer. Initial setup: Yours will obviously not have the dog, unless you make your profile picture that.
